a few pictures of my $50 maxi (i still need to pay ryan $50 for the bottom end!). all i have left to do is to attach the pipe, which i gotta get from troy, and he’s out of town till the 6th.

wheels are some batavus front that was hanging around the shop, rear puegeot with the same story. front tire is 30 years old and cracked, rear is new, found in a corner at motomatic
forks, bars, headlight, magnum kickstand, seat, controls.. everything else, really.. all either shit i’ve been carrying around with me forever, or shit that was sitting in piles at motomatic
stoked i could build my first maxi from the frame up and only spend $50! i replaced the seized crank with a good used one, welded the seatpost upside down to the front of the seat to get it lower/futher back. gearing is 16x44, real close to stock. it should be a fun bike with that a55 top end! can’t wait to ride it!
